1. The Originals (2013 – 2018)
“Bad Blood”
The Originals is a supernatural fantasy horror show with five seasons and is a spin-off from The Vampire Diaries.
Although the main characters are vampires, witches play a large role in both The Originals and The Vampire Diaries.
The three Mikaelson siblings, Klaus, Elijah, and Rebekah, are the first vampires. Klaus is a hybrid vampire/werewolf.
The Mikaelsons return to New Orleans for the first time since 1919 to find a war brewing between vampires, werewolves, and witches. The witches are trying to release the iron-grip that Marcel—one of Klaus’s proteges and Rebekah’s former lover—has on the city.
The witches try to use Hayley, a werewolf pregnant with Klaus’s child, to manipulate Klaus into helping them get rid of Marcel.

2. The Witcher (2019 - )

The Witcher is a supernatural fantasy series of three seasons (so far).
Geralt is a solitary monster hunter trying to survive in a world where people are often more evil than the monsters he’s paid to deal with.
He inadvertently becomes the protector of a young princess with a powerful gift. Destiny also pushes him towards Yennefer, a powerful sorceress, and the three of them have to navigate an increasingly volatile continent.

American Horror Story: Coven is a supernatural horror story and is the third season in the American Horror Story franchise.
A coven of witches, descended from Salem witches, fights for survival in 2013 New Orleans.
Zoe learns that she’s a witch with an awful power and she’s sent to a private academy in New Orleans that teaches young witches how to survive in the modern world.
The reigning Supreme and most powerful witch of her generation arrives to ensure the girls’ protection, much to the displeasure of her daughter, Cordelia, who runs the academy.

A Discovery of Witches is a supernatural historical fantasy series of three seasons.
Diana Bishop is the last in a long line of distinguished witches, living in a world where witches, vampires, and daemons live inconspicuously among humans. She’s unwilling to embrace her heritage, and immerses herself in becoming a historian.
While researching alchemy, she comes across a paper that had been presumed lost but that every creature wants. Besieged and threatened, she accepts the offer of help from vampire Matthew Clairmont to uncover the mystery of the paper even though witches and vampires are not meant to trust each other.

Witches of East End is a supernatural horror show of two seasons.
Joanna Beauchamp and her two daughters, Freya and Ingrid, are immortal witches, although the daughters are unaware of it. The family have been cursed so they can’t use their magical powers because of their involvement in the Salem witch trials.
Following Freya’s engagement to a wealthy playboy, she starts to become infatuated with his brother and strange things start to happen. Joanna is forced to tell her daughters who they really are as the curse seems to be slowly breaking. Their powers slowly start to return as an ancient enemy focuses on ending the Beauchamp line.

Charmed is a supernatural fantasy series of eight seasons.
Three sisters discover a magic book and learn that they are the most powerful witches ever known. When one of them reads the inscription on the front of the book out loud, it activates the sisters’ supernatural powers.
They each have different powers and they use them to protect the world from demons, warlocks, witches, and other evil beings.

Salem is a supernatural historical horror show of three seasons.
Mary is pregnant and unwed in the Puritanical town of Salem in the late 1600s. She believes her lover died in the war and chooses to promise her child to the devil rather than face the repercussions of Puritan justice.
She marries the town’s richest and most influential man and enslaves him using witchcraft.
Reverend Mather is out to kill all witches while Mary plans to use his witch trials to progress the Grand Rite which requires the sacrifice of innocents. Then her lover, John, returns from the war and is caught up in the madness.

8. Mirror of the Witch (2016)
Mirror of the Witch is a South Korean supernatural horror series of one season.
When the queen is unable to conceive, she visits a shaman whose powerful black magic helps her give birth to twins, a boy and girl.
But the dark sorcery comes with a price and the girl is cursed, causing the queen to abandon her and leave her for dead. The girl is rescued and grows up in hiding, becoming a witch and trying to lift the evil curse from her life.
When she meets the royal physician, she hopes he will help her change her fate and reclaim her rightful place.
