  • Condolences to family, friends, and fans of actor Chris Gauthier. Gauthier has over 100 acting roles to his credit. His horror movie roles included Freddy vs. Jason, The Traveler, and Riding the Bullet. His horror TV credits include roles in iZombie, R.L. Stein’s The Haunting Hour, Supernatural, Sanctuary, Harper’s Island, Reaper, Masters of Horror, and Dead Like Me. RIP.

Horror Book Bits

  • Don’t forget to get your tickets for Scares That Care! Authorcon 3, being held from 12 to 14 April 2024 in Williamsburg VA. The horror-royalty guests of honor lineup alone make it a weekend not to be missed.
  • The official movie novelization of Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire by Greg Keyes will be released on Kindle, Audiobook, and Audio CD on 29 March 2024 and in paperback on 16 April 2024.
  • The 2023 Bram Stoker Awards® final ballot has had a slight amendment. Chuck Tingle’s Camp Damascus has been moved to the Novel category and Kalynn Bayron’s You’re Not Supposed to Die Tonight has been added to the Young Adult Novel category.
  • Laird Barron’s upcoming horror collection, Not a Speck of Light, already has over 900 pre-orders. The collection releases in September 2024.
  • Paula Guran, one of the Guests of Honor, has had to pull out of StokerCon 2024.

  • The Spiderwick Chronicles. Fantasy horror. The Grace Family moves into their ancestral home and unravel a dark mystery about their great-great Uncle who discovered the parallel, secret faerie world to their own. Premieres on The Roku Channel on 19 April 2024.
  • The Legend of Lake Hollow. Isolation horror. A group of friends at a remote lakeside cabin find themselves in a deadly nightmare when trail cameras on the property reveal they are surrounded by more than just Mother Nature. Release date TBA.

Horror Movie Trailers

  • Things Will Be Different. Sci-fi horror. Escaping police after a robbery, two estranged siblings lay low in a farmhouse that hides them in a different time where a mysterious force pushes them to breaking point. Premieres at SXSW Film Festival on 11 March 2024.
  • Ghost Busters: Frozen Empire (final trailer). Ghost comedy horror. Every ghost they’ve ever caught is about to be unleashed. Releases in cinemas on 22 March 2024.
  • Model House. Home invasion horror. Five swimsuit models stay in a secluded house for a weekend and disclose the location on social media. Two intruders break in and force the models to post a fake donation link to scam their followers, and the women decide to fight back. Releases in cinemas and VOD on 5 April 2024.
  • I Saw the TV Glow. Psychological horror. Teenager Owen is just trying to make it through life in the suburbs when his classmate introduces him to a mysterious late-night TV show that shows a vision of a supernatural world beneath their own. Releases in cinemas on 3 May 2024.
  • The Watchers. Supernatural horror. An artist gets stranded in an expansive, untouched forest in western Ireland. When she finds shelter, she becomes trapped alongside three strangers who are watched and stalked by mysterious creatures every night. Releases in cinemas on 14 June 2024.

Horror Game Trailers

  • Among the Whispers: Provocation. Ghost horror. Stephanie is looking for answers to her own harrowing brush with the supernatural. Her search has led her through several homes and locations in the quiet town of New Eidolon and now to a labyrinthine mansion on Magnificent Drive. You’ll need to employ various provocations to learn about the entities that plague this location and what binds them here. Release date TBA.
  • Baby Blues Nightmare. Survival toddler horror. Play as a toddler going into an adventure with your tricycle which you can fix, maintain and customize. Paddle, hide and survive but remember; try not to cry when you are scared. or the monsters will hear you. Wishlist on Steam. Release date TBA.
