Horror Movie Morsels

  • If you need a weekly horror movie fix for the Halloween season, BlumFest has you covered. AMC Theatres across the US are playing Blumhouse classics every Wednesday from 25 September to 30 October 2024. Paranormal Activity played this week, while the lineup for the next 5 weeks is: Lights Out, Insidious: Chapter 2, Happy Death Day, The Black Phone, and Five Nights at Freddy’s.
  • 20th Century Studios is doing a remake of 1992’s The Hand that Rocks the Cradle.
  • The Nosferatu movie shared a 27-second video on Twitter that implies the full trailer will be released on Monday, 30 September 2024.
  • Mike Flanagan’s movie adaptation of the Stephen King short story The Life of Chuck will most likely be released in summer 2025.

Horror Festival Fare

  • Need some frights this Halloween season? Dark Harbor 2024 , 20 September to 2 November in Long Beach, California, transforms the Queen Mary ship and surrounds into a series of scares you won’t easily forget.
  • Are you brave enough to stay at the Stanley Hotel? Overnightmare,18 to 20 October 2024, is an immersive overnight horror experience brought to you by Peacock and Blumhouse.
  • Tickets are available now for Nashville Nightmare. Have fun with clowns, underworld portals, horror high schools, and aliens between now and 9 November 2024.
