A new edition of Clive Barker’s Books of Blood, Volumes 1 to 3 has been released, featuring a new afterword by Grady Hendrix.
Echo On Publications are publishing a novelization of 2003 slasher horror Wrong Turn. The book is based on the original screenplay and will release in 2026.
One of Us is a new horror event taking place in Iowa City on 6 Sep 2025. Meet some interesting authors and presses, buy books, have them signed, and listen to readings and conversations.

Horror Movie Morsels

The remake of 1992 psychological horror movie The Hand That Rocks the Cradle is coming to Hulu with a different script, but also some nods to the original.
2026 Frankenstein movie The Bride! has been rated R for strong/bloody violent content, sexual content/nudity and language.
The origin story of Art the Clown will be revealed in Terrifier 4, but not in a way that removes the ‘mystique’ from the character.
Documentary Theatre of Horrors: The Sordid Story of Paris’ Grand Guignol premieres at the L’Étrange Festival in Paris on 6 Sep 2025. The movie tells the story of the Parisian theatre established in 1897 that revolutionized the depiction of death in art.
Ridley Scott says he turned down $20 million to do Terminator 3.
Ready or Not 2: Here I Come starts immediately after the first movie ends and expands on the mythology.
KPOP Demon Hunters is the most watched movie of all time on Netflix. The movie also pulled in over $18 million at the box office opening and there are talks about a sequel.
The Good Boy is getting an expanded cinema release after the trailer reached over 1 million views and people rapidly googling whether the dog survives.

The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula: Titans returns for season 2 on 7 Oct 2025 on Shudder and AMC+.
The Creep Tapes, Season 2, is part of Shudder’s 2025 Halloween lineup.
The 200th episode of The Last Drive-In with Joe Bob Briggs is called ‘Joe Bob’s Splatterween’, will feature the band Gwar, and airs on 24 Oct 2025 on Shudder.

Ice Nine Kills is taking their Silver Scream Con to London on 13-14 Dec 2025. The two confirmed guests at this stage are Terrifier director Damien Leone and Art the Clown actor David Howard Thornton.
