When they stop at Wolf Creek National Park, their car breaks down. A local man, Mick, comes along and offers to tow them back to his place and fix their car for them.
What they don’t realize is that Mick is a serial killer who preys on stranded travellers.

That night, they hear loud creaking noises from within the walls and Kay has nightmares.
Edna returns, barefoot and dirty, and with a large black bruise on her chest. Although Edna seem alright at first, she becomes increasingly unstable and Kay and Sam start to believe an evil presence within the house is controlling her.
