R. Curtis’s western horror novel, Bloodletting, is getting a movie adaptation.
Michael Harbron is writing Fright Night, the official prequel novel to the 1985 horror movie of the same name. The novelization releases in Oct 2025 to coincide with the movie’s 40th anniversary.

Horror Movie Morsels

Blumhouse now officially owns Twisted Pictures’ share of future Saw films. Lionsgate still has a 50% interest in the Saw IP, including movies, comics, video games, theme park attractions, toys, masks, and clothing.
Writer/Director Michael Shanks has released a statement on the recently-filed lawsuit accusing him, Alison Brie, Dave Franco, and Neon of copyright infringement with upcoming movie, Together. Shanks calls the lawsuit “devastating” and says it “has taken a heavy toll” but he stands by the movie, its origins, and the work taken to bring it to life.
1976 Spanish horror movie Who Can Kill a Child? is getting a reimagining called Suffer Little Children.
In promotions for Weapons, Warner Bros is teasing a ‘one-time-only’ Maybrook Missing livestream’ on 23 Jun. RSVP by signing up at com.
LEGO is considering an official Godzilla set.
Imprint Films is releasing 4 limited edition Alfred Hitchcock Blu-ray collections on 27 Aug 2025 that includes 16 movies and one TV season.
Dan Trachtenberg says he’s got a 3rd Predator project in mind that he’s keen to get to once Predator: Badlands is done.
