Smith played one of the zombies in Night of the Living Dead (1968) and always made “time to meet with visiting fans and escort them around her property and the adjacent filming location where the farmhouse originally stood”. RIP.
  • Condolences to family, friends, and fans of actress Kathleen Hughes. Hughes’s horror credits include It Came From Outer Space (1953), Cult of the Cobra (1955), and 2 episodes of Alfred Hitchcock Presents. RIP.

  • Chattanooga Film Festival, 20-28 Jun 2025, released its final wave of movie scheduling. This latest list includes plague horror Itch!, cult horror Pater Noster and the Mission of Light, supernatural horror Solvent, psychological horror The Only Ones, and witch horror They Were Witches.
