- The first of a 5-issue Predator vs. Planet of the Apes crossover comic series releases on 29 Jul 2026.

- Serial killer romance horror Heart Eyes is getting a sequel and will release on 11 Feb 2028.
- A 4K UHD collector’s Blu-ray of 2001 werewolf horror movie Ginger Snaps releases on 19 May 2026.
- Curry Barker will direct the reimagining of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
- The Behind the Mask II: The Return of Leslie Vernon kickstarter took only 10 minutes to reach its $20,000 goal and pledges are now 8 times that.
- Sam Evenson’s horror short MORA, about an artist searching for a woman who shows up in AI-generated images, is getting a movie adaptation also written and directed by him.
- YouTuber Markiplier is working to get Iron Lung onto YouTube movies and setting up a system for other YouTubers to do the same. He’ll also be distributing physical copies himself.

- Noah Hawley says that season 2 of Alien: Earth is “a bigger show, more world building” than season 1, and hopes it’s around for more than 2 seasons because “I have a place that I’m going, but I don’t know how long it will take me to get there”.
- The Netflix live-action Scooby-Doo series is called Scooby-Doo: Origins.
