- War of the Worlds: Thunder Child is a new graphic novel, releasing 2 Jun 2026, that “runs parallel to the events of H.G. Wells’ The War of the Worlds”.

- In 2026, Alamo Drafthouse is expanding its Terror Tuesday and Weird Wednesday movie screening to every corporate Alamo theatre nationwide. Terror Tuesdays are all about horror movies. Weird Wednesdays show genre “fringe” movies.

- The first 2026 episode WWE’s Raw (5 Jan) will have a Stranger Things theme.
